Mr. Richard McNally is a strategic and technical advisor to VietED and also takes up technical role in our advisory projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Ecological Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, both from the prestigious Edinburgh University.
For the past two decades, Richard has been a driving force in development, working with renowned international organizations like the World Bank, FAO, UNDP, DFID, SNV, and WWF. During this time, he provided strategic direction, knowledge leadership, and business development expertise, contributing to the design and delivery of over 20 projects and funds across Asia and Africa. Over the past decade, he has shifted his focus, increasingly collaborating with private sector and financial institutions to amplify the impact of his work. Richard possesses a deep understanding of the South East Asia region, where he has resided for the past 14 years, and extensive knowledge of East and West Africa. His expertise is further recognized by his membership in the World Bank FCPF Technical Advisory Panel and his role as an International Sectoral Expert for the GCF.
