VietED has helped its clients including MFIs and farmer cooperatives adopt digital technology to be operationally efficient, reduce cost and bring convenience for their end-clients. We have worked with MFIs to improve their Management Information Systems and advised them on core banking solutions.
For the Cooperatives, with support from multilateral and donors like UNDP and Asia Foundation, we have enabled them to adopt digital technology to launch into e-commerce space. This has helped them with an alternate distribution channel for their products. We worked with the farmer cooperatives to improve their product quality, product designs and trained them on basic marketing skills to be able to leverage e-commerce. All this has meant reduced unsold inventory, improved gross margins and better income in the hands of the farmers.
